Thank you for visiting worldspaceacademy.io (the “Website”), operated by Itza Media Limited (“Itza”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Use set out the terms on which you may use the Website.
The Website is the home of the Rocket Revolution Challenge, a World Space Week schools challenge delivered in partnership with the BBC, the Villars Institute and UCL, and the wider World Space Academy programme.
Please note: these Terms cover the Website only. Once a student proceeds to complete learning activities, quizzes or the leaderboard on the ITZA learner platform (itza.io), that use is instead governed by ITZA’s own Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and AI Usage Policy.
Our
Privacy Policy and
Cookie Policy also form part of these Terms and should be read alongside this document. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Website.
The registration, Teacher Toolkit and newsletter sign-up forms on this Website are intended to be completed by a teacher or other school staff member, not by students. We do not direct or invite students to use these forms.
1. Who we are
The Website is provided by Itza Media Limited, a private company registered in England & Wales with company number 11005147.
2. Changes
We may change these Terms at any time. Where we do, we will update this page, and, for material changes, notify registered schools by email. Please check this page each time you use the Website.
3. Accessing the Website
We may deny access to the Website, or any part of it, at our discretion — for example, if we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms.
4. Using the Website
You agree to use the Website only in a way that complies with applicable law, is consistent with these Terms, and does not infringe our rights or the rights of others.
5. Registering your school
To register your school for the Rocket Revolution Challenge, you will be asked to complete a registration form. By registering, you confirm that:
You are a teacher or other person authorised to register your school for the Challenge.
The information you provide is accurate and complete, and you will let us know if it changes.
We may decline or withdraw a registration at our discretion, for example if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
6. The Challenge
Rocket Revolution is a free schools challenge exploring rockets, engineering and space travel, running during World Space Week. It includes teacher-led classroom sessions supported by materials on this Website, and independent digital learning activities, quizzes and leaderboards for students on the ITZA learner platform (itza.io).
Rules governing quizzes, leaderboards and gameplay on itza.io are set out in ITZA’s own Website Terms & Conditions, not in this document.
7. Teacher Toolkit and downloadable resources
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Teacher Toolkit and other classroom resources made available on the Website, solely for teaching and educational purposes in your own school. You may not modify, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit these materials, and you must keep any copyright or source notices intact.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Website (including text, graphics, logos and videos) is owned by Itza or its licensors (including our programme partners) and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Except as set out in Section 7, you may not reproduce, republish or otherwise exploit any content from the Website without our written permission.
9. Third-party links and partners
The Website contains links to third-party sites, including World Space Week, the BBC, the Villars Institute, UCL and itza.io. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or their own terms and privacy practices.
10. Disclaimers
The Website is provided for general information and educational purposes. It is provided ‘as is’ without warranties of any kind. You use the Website at your own risk.

12. Links to our site
You may link to the Website’s home page, provided you do not imply any endorsement by Itza, misrepresent your relationship with us, or use our trademarks without permission.
13. Severance
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms will continue to apply.
14. Waiver
A failure by us to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
15. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Law, courts and language
These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy) are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the English courts. These Terms are provided in English only.
